Purposes of data processing by the data controller and third parties
We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those stated. We will only share your personal data with third parties if:
the processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data.

We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law. Collection of general information when visiting our website
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected by means of a cookie. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. In particular, they are processed for the following purposes:
The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest from the aforementioned data collection purposes. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Recipients of the data are only the responsible body and, if applicable, order processors.
Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us, if necessary, in order to optimize our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
SOCIAL MEDIA PLUGINS
SOCIAL NETWORKS
We use plug-ins from various social networks. A social network is a platform or app that allows users to communicate with each other, exchange opinions, or share content such as images with other users or on the social network itself. Users usually have the option of creating private or business profiles, networking with each other or providing private or company-related information.
The respective plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles. The purpose of the processing is the presentation of (needs-based) advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of the website and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. The evaluation also takes place when you are not logged into the social network. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. To exercise the right to object, you must contact the respective plug-in provider. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. We only activate these plug-ins once you have given us your consent to do so.
USE OF YOUTUBE VIDEOS
We embed YouTube videos on our website using the YouTube embedding function. YouTube is a service of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is responsible for compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.
The embedding of the videos takes place in the extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, user information is only stored when the playback of the video(s) is started. When starting the video, “YouTube” uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to “YouTube”, the cookies are used to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive behavior. In the process, data, including your IP address, is sent to Google servers in the USA. Google stores your data and evaluates it. This happens regardless of whether you are logged in or not. If you click on a video and are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your Google account. You can prevent this if you log out from activating the button. The evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of Google’s legitimate interests in the insertion of personalized advertising, market research and / or needs-based design of its website. You can object to the creation of these user profiles. You must address the objection to YouTube.
Each time this website is called up, a connection to the Google “Double Click” network is established. This happens independently of a playback of the embedded videos. This may trigger further data processing operations over which we have no control.
For more information on data protection at “YouTube”, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. We only activate these plug-ins once you have given us your consent to do so.
SPECIAL NOTES FOR ONLINE PRESENCES ON SOCIAL NETWORKS / PLATFORMS
We use online presences on social networks and platforms (such as Facebook fanpages on the Facebook platform). The online presence is technically provided by a service provider, the social network or platform (hereinafter platform) itself. The platform may itself process personal data, such as your IP address. If you are logged into the social network, the platform may establish a link between your user profile and your visit. Processing of personal data by the platform occurs in particular when you visit the social media presence or when you interact with it, e.g. mark a post with “like”.
The processing of data by the platform can be found in the respective privacy policy of the platform. As a rule, the data is processed for market research purposes and advertising. The platform may use this data to create user profiles and generate personalized ads.
You will find a link to the respective policy with the respective listing of the platforms. The processing of the data may not take place in Germany or in the European Union, but in a third country. This may make it more difficult to enforce rights. The third country may not have the same level of data protection as Europe. An adequate level of protection can be achieved through various mechanisms, such as the Privacy Shield for US companies.
The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. We only activate these plug-ins once you have given us your consent to do so.
Further and detailed information on processing by the respective platform and possibilities to object (opt-out), can be found on the respective platform under the specified links.
WHICH PLATFORMS DO WE USE?
SPECIAL NOTES FOR FACEBOOK
When you visit our Facebook page, your IP address, among other things, is transmitted to Facebook and processed. According to Facebook’s own information, this IP address is anonymized (for “German” IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g., as part of the “login notification” function); if necessary, this allows Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users.
Facebook does not disclose conclusively how Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties. If you are currently logged in to Facebook when you visit our Facebook page, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your end device. This allows Facebook to track that you have visited the page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. You can avoid a mapping of your profile and interactions if you log out of Facebook or deactivate the “stay logged in” function, delete the cookies present on your device and close and restart your browser.
Cookies
Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Through this, we automatically receive certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate your navigation and enable the correct display of our web pages.
Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. In general, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.
Contact form
If you contact us by e-mail or contact form regarding questions of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address. This serves the assignment of the request and the subsequent response to the same. The provision of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions. After completion of your request, personal data will be deleted automatically.
Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – although it is currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection statement will then apply to your next visit.
